Our Japan office is located in Shibakoen, Minato City, at the heart of one of the world’s largest and most dynamic metropolitan areas. Tokyo brings together centuries-old temples, peaceful gardens and traditional neighbourhoods with modern architecture, technology and an international business environment.

Each area of the city has its own character, from the shops and restaurants of Ginza to the energy of Shibuya and the historic streets of Asakusa. An extensive transport network makes it easy to explore the city and travel further across Japan. Tokyo is also known for its exceptional food scene, ranging from small neighbourhood ramen shops to internationally recognised restaurants.

A local fact from our neighbourhood: the office is based in Shibakoen, close to Tokyo Tower. Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, this Tokyo landmark stands 333 metres tall and has shaped the city’s skyline since 1958.

Swiss-AS opened its Tokyo office in October 2021 as an extension of its Asia-Pacific business unit in Singapore. Its location allows us to work more closely with customers in Japan and across East Asia, while also providing a convenient time-zone connection with Oceania.

Since January 2024, the office has been fully owned by Swiss-AS. The Tokyo team works closely with colleagues in Singapore and across the wider Swiss-AS organisation to provide regional expertise and support throughout the AMOS customer journey.
