Mexico City
Our Mexico City office is located in one of the world’s largest and most culturally diverse metropolitan areas. Often referred to as CDMX, Mexico’s capital combines an international business environment with distinctive neighbourhoods, a strong creative scene and close connections across the Americas.
The city brings together pre-Hispanic heritage, colonial architecture and contemporary culture. Its historic centre and the canals of Xochimilco are recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while Chapultepec offers extensive green spaces and some of Mexico’s most important museums. Mexico City is also known for its varied food scene, from neighbourhood markets and street food to internationally recognised restaurants.
A local fact: modern Mexico City was built on the remains of Tenochtitlan, the Aztec capital established on an island in Lake Texcoco. Traces of this history can still be found beneath and alongside the city’s modern streets.
Opened in 2026, our Mexico City office serves the wider Lufthansa Technik Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem. Legally established as a Swiss AviationSoftware branch, it supports the joint market approach across AMOS, AVIATAR and flydocs.
Together with our Miami office, the location forms a dual-hub structure for the Americas. It brings us closer to customers in Mexico and Latin America, strengthens regional collaboration and enables more responsive support based on local market knowledge.
