Product Owner - Continued Airworthiness Management / Engineering Applications

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with a solid background of Aviation Engineering to join our Product Management team and work as part of a team of highly skilled software engineers here in Basel.
As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering solutions that drive operational excellence for our customers. You will be responsible for the Engineering specific areas of our application suite AMOS and ensure that the product is compliant with all regulatory requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards, so that our clients can maintain and operate their aircraft in an airworthy, safe, and operationally efficient way.
Tasks / Key Responsibilities
- Own product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the Engineering area in close collaboration with the development team, internal and external stakeholders
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers and industry experts, to gather and refine requirements.
- Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into comprehensive solutions and advocate the needs of our clients and partners in an industry dedicated to safety and efficiency.
- Work closely with development teams with regular solution design reviews and continuous improvements to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product outcomes.
- Continuously assess product performance and user feedback to drive iterative improvements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
- Maintain a strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations, industry standards, and emerging technologies to ensure product compliance and innovation.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with experts from leading companies in the aviation industry to define and implement integrated solutions.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of industry standards by attending working group meetings and conferences
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in software development.
- A degree in aviation engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- Background in aviation maintenance, MRO software, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Agile Development principles
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and partners and assume accountability for the product.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
