We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Consultant & Project Manager that implements and supports the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering System (AMOS) at our Asia Pacific customers successfully. This position assumes the role of the project manager to assist the client project leader in ensuring the successful AMOS implementation within time, scope, and budget.
Main focus:
- Primary contact and responsible person in AMOS implementation projects
- Oversee planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple simultaneous client projects
- Plan, schedule, monitor and report on activities related to the projects; including financial health and status of the project; all risks, issues, changes; deliverables
- Understand our customers’ requirements and suggest how best these requirements can be met by our product AMOS
- Produce business requirements specifications including analysis & re-engineering of existing business processes
- Provide business consulting in the area of MRO
- 40-60% travel to client locations worldwide
Main responsibilities:
- To hold role of primary point of contact between the customer and Swiss-AS
- To apply project management principles to adequately manage the project communication, agreed scope, and agreed schedule
- To ensure that customer understands and adheres to the Swiss-AS AMOS implementation project methodologies
- To ensure that all required work streams of the project are planned and that the required internal Swiss-AS resources are allocated within the established project budget
- To share expert knowledge and industry experience with colleagues
- To provide input to the continuous product & software development lifecycle of the AMOS software
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree in related business area (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of aviation industry experience (or equivalent) to acquire comprehensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance business processes and their relevant regulations
- Project Management experience
- Capability to frequently travel abroad to customer locations and to interact with cross-cultural customer project teams
- Excellent English (written & spoken) Any additional language is an asset
- Provide clear and timely communication for customers and colleagues
- Make decisions with appropriate speed, present and defend own standpoint
